Unfortunately I can't teach this semester because I am covering the Wolf Pack basketball team and will be on the road for the second half of the semester, which would mean I would have to cancel some classes when I was out of town. I didn't think it was far to the students, so decided to pass this semester. Too bad because I will miss it. Are you teaching a section?

About Me:
I completed my BA in '04 and my master's in '06... both in journalism. As an undergrad, I was a presenting member of the NSAC team, drifted in and out of Ad Club and was a loyal Delta Delta Delta sister. My master's thesis was a content analysis of a national advertising campaign and its effects on industry creative direction.
While in graduate school and until April of '08, I put in about 5 years at a small, local advertising agency. Won a couple awards. Made a lot of friends. Then in April, I decided it was time to move to a bigger pond, and made the leap to the corporate world. I am a marketing services editor at IGT, I continue to teach J203 at the RSJ and do some freelance writing gigs when they float into my inbox... acceptance is usually based upon which bar I might review and which friend is asking for my help.
Upon making my millions at IGT and retiring, I plan to relentlessly pester VOGUE, Vanity Fair, Elle, W and the New Yorker (perferably the fashion edition) until they give me an editing job. Wintour's going to kick off eventually. I'll be ready.
